When acting as a Supervisor, you will supervise, direct, assist, and monitor the job performance of all Hotel Housekeeping Team Members, ensuring the completion of housekeeping tasks at a level that upholds our esteemed reputation.JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – HOUSEKEEPING CLERK:Answer incoming calls from both guests and internal departments with a warm, friendly greetingUtilize, maintain, and monitor the daily status of Hotel Housekeeping systems to ensure all activities are completed within standards set by Hotel Housekeeping ManagementWork with the supervisory team to create and maintain daily reports for distribution to Hotel ManagementAssist with the delivery of guest requests when neededPerform the duties of the Room Attendant, Houseperson, Laundry Attendant, and Housekeeping Quality Assurance as neededMaintain a clean office environmentMaintain all radio and device logs and inventory for the department, reporting discrepancies to leadership when discoveredEndorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and ValuesJOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – SHIFT SUPERVISOR:Ensure the turnover of all vacant and clean rooms in a timely manner; verify stayovers, report early check-outs, communicate issues and discrepancies; and ensure maximum guest satisfaction with the front officeSupervise, direct, assist, and monitor the performance of all Hotel Housekeeping Team Members to ensure the completion of housekeeping tasks and perform all duties of all Hotel Housekeeping Team Members as requiredServe as a leader for Team Members while fostering teamwork, Team Member morale, motivation, and open communicationEnsure all Hotel Housekeeping Team Members are well trained with an emphasis on detail to provide service levels consistent with the accepted concept for the hotelFollow inventory and purchasing procedures to achieve budgeted expensesMaintain key control within the departmentAccountable for the follow-up with department walk-throughs, special cleaning projects, and maintaining of department cleanliness and training standardsFollow and ensure security and safety guidelines are in placeMaintain and monitor lost and found systemFollow up and reconcile all guest concerns or complaints relating to their stayComplete room inspections dailyProvide direction and support for all Team Members to achieve department goals and objectivesCoach and develop Team Members using a consistent, approachable demeanor while clearly articulating expectationsResponsible for or actively participates in the initiation of personnel actions, including but not limited to interviews, training, candidate selection, terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actionsProactive with incidents and issues, ensuring resolution with Team Members and guestsOther duties as required to deliver excellent serviceAdhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical mannerEstablish and endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and ValuesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma or GED is requiredTwo years of housekeeping experience is requiredOne year of supervisory experience is preferredMust demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, supervisory, and guest service skills and excellent oral and written communication skillsExperience working with Biohazards and knowledge in dealing with Blood-borne PathogensProficient in the use of Windows-based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and must be able to operate a handheld smart deviceSelf-starter: must work without close supervision and have the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentNeat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene* Knowledge of hotel and housekeeping computer systems and programs*Knowledge of Harrah's employment policies, BBP Training and Risk Management*Not required at time of hire;
